The Bozeman Folklore Society and the City of Bozeman Parks and Rec Dept. are proud to host a show by Betsy Wise, as part of the Pickin’ in the Parks concert series.

Bozeman singer-songwriter Betsy Wise is releasing a new self-titled album, and we’re hosting an CD release bash! Betsy will be performing with John Sanders on upright bass, and the likelihood of a guest on fiddle is high.

Betsy lives a life steeped in music, teaching and gigging, with a strong belief in the healing and transformative power of music. She has been making music her whole life, starting with classical piano and singing harmony with her family.  She began songwriting as a teenager inspired by songwriters like Joni Mitchell, Nancy Griffith, and 60’s rock and roll. You might have seen her singing and playing with the Hooligans, White Sage, Acony Belles, are in the duo Betsy and Johnny with John Sanders.
